I gathered here all the illustrations I painted for Drawtober this year. And although I didn't have enough time, I finished it!
I tried to combine all topics into one story as much as possible. Finding himself accidentally in a strange house on the outskirts of the overgrown cemetery, the Traveler meets various odd individuals.
Overgrown Cemetery 🌿
What is a lonely traveler lost in the backwoods to do? Of course to go to the lights, so attractive and cozy twinkling behind the trees. So what if the path led to an old abandoned cemetery. We are grown‑up and reasonable people and certainly do not believe in superstitions and other wickedness, don't we?
Moth Bitten Library 📚
The Traveler entered the house. No one met him, but he saw a light behind one of the doors. "There must be someone there who can show me my room," he thought and headed for the light. The door opened with a slight creak and the Traveler saw the library....
Devious Dining 🍽️
The Traveler shut the library door in confusion. What a strange girl, and those moths..... But he was hungry, so he decided to find the kitchen. When he caught the appetizing aroma of food in the air, he trusted his intuition and sense of smell. As he descended the floor below, he saw a mysterious flicker behind an arched doorway at the end of the corridor. As he stepped closer, he saw a strange scene...
Moonlit Conservatory🌜
So, after seeing dinner being prepared in the kitchen, the Traveler ran out into the corridor in terror. His only dream was to get out of this strange house. But the house seemed to be playing tricks on him, and he couldn't find a way out. Instead, he ended up in the conservatory....
Dolls in the Attic 🧸
This time the sounds of sad but incredibly beautiful music led him to the attic...
Ghostly Ballroom 👻
The Lonely Traveler has spent so much time in a strange house on the edge of an overgrown cemetery that its oddities no longer surprise him. Little by little, he grew to sympathize with its bizarre inhabitants. And now it was time to choose ‑ to stay there and become a member of the big family or to leave. What choice would he make? That's a whole other story...
